This was one of the most amazing art experiences that I have had in long time. I took my daughter because I was concerned about traffic and parking and we did not have to worry about any of that. I was overwhelmed about the visual effects of the exhibits. Most certainly worth getting the VIP tickets. I would do all over again!!

The church of San Potito was erected in the first half of the 17th century by Pietro De Marino. The site was once home to a religious structure belonging first to the Basilian nuns and then to the Benedictines. After being restored in 1780, the church was suppressed by the French government in 1808 and used by the infantry in 1809. It then remained abandoned until it was entrusted to the congregation of bank officers by decree of Francis I of Two Sicilies. Contrasting its design with the works of art, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience transforms the entire museum space of the church.

The visit will take around 60 minutes.

Will there be strobe lights?

No.

No, but there are third-party food vendors in close proximity to the experience.

Will the venue be heated?

The venue is not heated, it is still a 17th century church and air conditioners cannot be installed.

Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?

There will be deckchairs in the hall for visitors to use while watching the exhibition.

Is this a kid-friendly environment?

This event is recommended for all ages. However, please keep in mind that the space is not accessible for prams, and it doesn't have baby changing facilities.

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 30 minutes.

What happens if I arrive late?

Your ticket will still be valid, but you may be required to wait until there is space in the following times slots.

What are the prohibited items at the experience?

Flash photography, alcohol, anything which may disturb the other patrons.

Animals are not allowed.

There won't be wheelchairs for hire, but we do have a wheelchair entrance that can be used by people to avoid stairs.

What are the different ticket options and prices?

Tickets are sold per person. There are two ticket options:

Standard Access - includes entry to the exhibition

Adult (ages 15+)
Child (ages 4–14)
Senior (65+ y.o.), Student (13 to 26 y.o.) or disabled
Family Bundle (min. 4 people, of which max. 2 adults)
Group Bundle (min. 10 people)

VIP Admission - includes entry to the experience, entry to the VR experience* with skip-the-line, and a "Starry Night" poster

VIP Adult (ages 15+)
VIP Child (ages 4–14)

Ticket prices will start at €10 for adults and €8 for children. Free entry for children under 4 years old.

*For Standard Access only ticket holders, entry to the VR experience can be purchased separately on-site.

Can I purchase VR tickets on-site?

Yes, any attendee can purchase tickets for the VR experience on-site, but only VIP tickets will benefit from priority access to it.

Are refunds allowed? What is the exchange policy?

If you can't make it to the session you booked, simply open the app and check your ticket. If your ticket permits rescheduling, you'll be able to pick a different date and time within the ticket section of the app.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.

Do you offer group discounts?

Do we have carer tickets?

There will be free tickets at the on-site ticket office for carers.

Are there any specific COVID-19 rules to attend this experience?

As official local health guidelines evolve regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, we may enforce vaccinations and/or require masks. To attend this experience mask use will not be mandatory nor COVID-19 vaccination will be required to attend the experience. Regardless, we highly encourage all attendees to wear masks.

Can children do VR alone?

Yes.

What should I wear to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience?

There is no dress code, but since the experience typically lasts around an hour, we recommend comfortable shoes and clothes.
