Such an exciting way to spend an evening. I'd highly recommend, if you can get tickets! I suppose we'll just have to hope that they extend the run, so more friends can come from out of town to visit me and the exhibition! This was one of the most amazing art experiences that I have had in long time. I took my daughter because I was concerned about traffic and parking and we did not have to worry about any of that. I was overwhelmed about the visual effects of the exhibits. Most certainly worth getting the VIP tickets. I would do all over again!!

I can’t tell you guys how incredible this is. Please run, don’t walk here! I would come more than once because there is so much to see and absorb.
Framed samples of some of Van Gogh’s work serve as an appetizer for the rich banquet that awaits beyond the final landing of the stairwell. Once on the exhibition floor, the visitor is greeted by a larger-than-life bust of the artist himself, with the swirling brushstrokes of color as the backdrop.
You can actually be a part of creating some of Van Gogh’s work, take a walk in his life- really it’s just an incredible experience here.

Located in Schenectady New York, Armory Studios NY is the regional home base for major film production. Built in 1936 and influenced by 16th century military architecture, it’s a uniquely styled building that blends art deco features with Tudorbethan forms. 30K square feet with soaring, fifty-foot-high, beamed ceilings, Armory Studio’s Drill Hall, Studio A is the perfect home for Albany’s newest expansive exhibit, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.

Parking

There is free parking available for Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in lots A, B, C, D & H. Lot H, which is adjacent Armory Studio, is designated for ADA parking.

Paid street parking is also available during business hours and is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.

Getting here

From Albany and points south, east & west: take I-90 to I-890 and then exit 4-C for Washington Ave. Then, take a right on State Street and a right on S. Church St. or S. Ferry St. for parking.

Ride-share drop-off & pickup is available on-site.

CDTA stops are located in close proximity (at State St. & Church St.), while the nearest Amtrak station is located at 332 Erie Blvd. (1/2 mile from Armory Studios).

What can I expect from Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience?

Discover a new way to enjoy the works of Vincent van Gogh and immerse yourself in the artist's masterpieces at this 360-degree, digital show. Expect digital displays, sound effects, projection mapping and much more!

Does the exhibition take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?

The exhibition will be held in an indoor venue.

How long does the experience last?

The visit will take around 60 to 75 minutes.

Will there be strobe lights?

No.

Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?

No, but there are third-party food vendors in close proximity to the experience.

Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes.

Is this a kid-friendly environment?

This event is recommended for all ages. However, please keep in mind that the space is not accessible for prams, and it doesn't have baby changing facilities.

Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?

It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket, but you can arrive within the next 30 minutes.

What happens if I arrive late?

Your ticket will still be valid, but you may be required to wait until there is space in the following times slots.

What are the prohibited items at the experience?

Flash photography, alcohol, anything which may disturb the other patrons.

What are the different ticket options and prices?

Tickets are sold per person. There are two ticket options:

Standard Access - includes entry to the exhibition

Adult (ages 13+)
Child (ages 4–12)
Senior (65+ y.o.), Student (13 to 26 y.o.) or Military - valid ID required
Family Bundle (min. 4 people, of which max. 2 adults)
Group Bundle (min. 15 people) - enjoy a 10% discount on ticket price

VIP Admission - includes entry to the experience, entry to the VR experience* with skip-the-line, and a "Starry Night" poster

VIP Adult (ages 13+)
VIP Child (ages 4–12)

Ticket prices will start at $32.20 for adults and $19.10 for children.
Free entry for children under 4 years old.

*For Standard Access only ticket holders, entry to the VR experience can be purchased separately on-site.

Can I purchase VR tickets on-site?

Yes, any attendee can purchase tickets for the VR experience on-site, but only VIP tickets will benefit from priority access to it.

Can I reschedule my tickets to another date/time, or upgrade/downgrade my ticket?

We may be able to help reschedule or exchange your ticket for another date, time or ticket type that has not already sold out with at least 48h. Please contact us for more information. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets are generally non-refundable. Ticket non-refund terms and conditions are agreed to before purchase. However, under special circumstances, you can contact us and our user support team will process your request. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly in the Fever App.

Do you offer group discounts?

For groups under 50 people, you can buy your tickets directly through the main page (select the “Group Bundle” option when choosing your ticket type). For special requests or groups over 50, please fill the groups form.

As official local health guidelines evolve regarding COVID-19 safety protocols, we may enforce vaccinations and/or require masks. To attend this experience mask use will not be mandatory nor COVID-19 vaccination will be required to attend the experience. Regardless, we highly encourage all attendees to wear masks.

What should I wear to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience?

Since the experience typically lasts around one hour we recommend comfortable shoes, there is however no dress code - whatever makes you feel comfortable to ensure that you can fully enjoy the experience!
